|Rescue Me ID: 16-02-04-00466Freda Goodhome (female)|
Freda was found wandering the streets in Smith County. In a county with no animal control, there aren't a lot of options. Luckily, she was picked up by someone who was able to find her a foster home. She would love a large yard with room to run, but she also likes to cuddle on the couch. She is about 5-6 years old, despite her white face. VERY SWEET!

Fostering for a friend. Luke is very laid back with people, likes to chase small animals in the yard such as squirrels. He is a very sweet dog, great with kids. Typical hound behaviors, but not hyper at all, he will lay around or chase birds etc. Needs a fenced yard or lots of land.

Sites up on my porch a few weeks ago very thin. I started feeding her and I now have her back up to weight. She's full of energy. Loves my kids, but hates my cats. Eats well, playful, and loves to run. I can't keep her due to my cats. She's in need of a home asap.

|Animal ID: D150442Buddy (male)|
Looking for a loyal hound who would enjoy curling up on the couch with you on a cold winter night? If so, you need to meet Buddy! This 3 year old 50 pound Coonhound may have once been a hunting dog (he was found emaciated in the woods) but now the only thing he is hunting is a warm indoor home. Buddy is a great dog who has never had an accident in his foster home and happily uses the dog door to the fenced yard. When he gets happy and excited Buddy will sing his hound song, but the cutest thing is when he prances through the yard carrying his favorite toy. He's good with other dogs and doesn't bother the cat. Buddy is looking for a family with a fenced yard and maybe a canine friend or two - if you will scratch his chin he is in heaven. Please contact us if you are interested in adopting this loveable hound. This dog is located and fostered in Tennessee. Minimum Adoption Donation $150 in TN, $200 plus transportation fee for out of state adoptions. |Rescue Me ID: 14-07-19-00452Sugar (female)|
Sweet Sugar Pie is a small walker coon hound. She weighs about 20 pounds. She has the classic tri color markings and has black speckles on her white shoulders and brown speckles on her white legs. She has the softest long brown ears. There is a narrow stripe that runs from her nose to the top of her head that is half black and half white. She is slim and tallish with a lean build and long legs. She is considerably quiet for a coon hound. She will bark if left alone in a kennel. She likes to be with people or other dogs. She enjoys being in the house and snuggling beside someone on the couch. If outside, she prefers to have other dogs with her. She has spent some time in a crate and did fine with people near by. She gets anxious when left in the crate alone for too long but is constantly improving. House training with crate time is going perfectly. No accidents. She walks well on a leash. She needs to have a fenced yard to run in but she's not really high energy. She prefers a cuddle to any playing. She is good with other dogs and every person she has ever met. She chases cats. If she sees a cat or other small animal, her dna tells her that she must chase. She just trembles in anticipation when held back. She will do well with a family that is lazy or busy as long as she can be very close to someone. She likes to sit on a lap and put her paws on your shoulders or to lie in your arms like a baby. She really likes to be close to her people. When she meets a person or other dogs she gets very low and submissive and then is eager for petting or dog frolicking. She is about a year old in July of 2014. She is spayed and fully vaccinated and ready for her forever home. (Less)
